Camino a Lago Park

This 6.8-acre neighborhood park is located within the Camino A Lago development. It includes both active and passive activities within the Camino a Lago residential development located between an active public library and a new elementary school. The park was designed and constructed to have its own sense of identity and to serve the community’s needs. The project was delivered as a CMAR project even though it was procured under a JOC. The City of Peoria hired Hunter at the 75% design stage, which played a significant role during preconstruction. Based on our experience on similar projects and understanding of marketplace conditions, we entered into a construction contract with a GMP at 90% plans to expedite the project schedule and to accommodate the unplanned opening of a new school. This saved time and allowed for the completion of park amenities shared with the school.
