Originally hailing from Florence, Oregon, and raised in Glendale, Arizona, Andrew embarked on his professional journey over three decades ago, initially stepping into the workforce within the masonry industry during the late 1980s, where he contributed to his family business. Following this, he served in the U.S. Navy Seabees before pursuing higher education at Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, New Jersey. There, he earned his degree in technical engineering, complemented by additional training with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which equipped him with valuable skills as both a builder and technical engineer.
Throughout his career, Andrew has been involved in diverse large-scale construction projects, including roadway, underground utility, aviation, and tunnel construction. He has developed a specialization in the water and wastewater industry, operating at both local and regional levels, bringing a wealth of experience to his endeavors.
Beyond his professional commitments, Andrew cherishes spending quality time with his family. He enjoys engaging in various activities, including working on vintage cars and motorcycles, fly-fishing, cooking, and exploring new destinations through travel.
