Hunter believes that the privilege of being a successful business comes with the responsibility of giving back to the community. Our employees volunteer their time and skills to charitable programs each year.
In 1990, when an employee’s child desperately needed an organ transplant, Hunter Contracting Co. (Hunter) organized their first annual charity golf tournament—raising more than $600,000 for the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) and Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley.
“Hunter’s annual charity golf tournaments have raised over $600,000 for the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley.”
Hunter encourages employees’ community involvement by offering opportunities through the Employee’s Charity Committee. It is a part of who we are, and our firm belief that volunteering helps us become better people who build stronger community ties.
