East Buckeye Park and Ride
This project created a park and ride for the Town of Buckeye. The parking lot included standard parking spaces, ADA-compatible handicap accessible parking spaces, and motorcycle parking spaces. The site also included a large auto/pedestrian shade structure, a bus-waiting shared structure, area lighting, 400 square-foot security building with water service and restroom, related utilities, a concrete plaza waiting area with benches, amenities, and landscape and irrigation. The project also featured an open room viewing area for future artwork with a grain bin silo architectural feature complementing the Town of Buckeye's agricultural heritage. Off-site work included a new access road for Palm Lane and widening Jackrabbit Trail to provide a turn lane, new guard rail, related signage, striping, and utility adjustments affected by the new pavement installation.
