Dig has over 20 years of experience in engineering and construction, specializing in alternative project delivery methods. He started his professional career as a Design Engineer with a bachelor’s in civil engineering, designing hydropower projects. Realizing soon thereafter, that he enjoyed construction aspects of projects more, he joined the graduate program in construction at Arizona State University. Dig graduated from ASU with a Master of Science in Construction in 2003 and worked at different civil construction companies before joining the Hunter team. Since joining Hunter in 2010, Dig has worked in several roles within the company, with one goal in mind – customer satisfaction through collaboration. In his current role as Project Sponsor, Dig is responsible for executing company strategic initiatives and oversees projects through their entire life cycle – pursuit to preconstruction and construction through warranty. He provides leadership and mentorship to his teams of Project Managers, Superintendents and Project Engineers. Dig always strives for perfection, instilling Hunter Core Values – Build it Right, Accountability, Safety, Integrity and Continuous Improvement – in everything we do. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona.
When Dig is not helping his teams solve challenges, collaborating with Engineers and clients and preparing for that next remarkable project, you can find him at one the of the parks he has built for his son’s soccer games, tinkering with miscellaneous home projects or quietly reading a book.
