Trash Rake Replacement

This project replaced the existing trash rakes and related system components at the Bouse Hills and Little Harquahala Pumping Plants with a completely new system at each plant. The entire system was replaced with a monorail-style design single-trolley/ gripper-style trash rake. Other work included installing a new PLC system, necessary components for communications with the plant’s PLC, waste vault, maintenance platform, and required structural elements. The system was tied into the existing pumping plant PLC and communication system to allow off-site viewing of water-level data, operational status, and trouble alarms.
