La Cholla Boulevard Phase II Improvements

To reduce congestion and improve pedestrian safety, and provide additional capacity for future traffic demands, this project reconstructed three traffic signal intersections on La Cholla Boulevard at Lambert Lane, Naranja Drive, and Glover Road with signalized and marked pedestrian crossings. Hunter widened the roads to four lanes with a raised landscaped median, curbs, multi-use path, and sidewalk, including drainage facilities. The work also included furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to reconstruct the traffic signals, construct all conduits, median cuts, ADA-compliant curb access ramps, striping, signing, and utility coordination.
