Goodyear Recreation Campus

This 30-acre recreation campus is the first of its kind in the City of Goodyear! The project has multi-use sports and baseball fields with Musco Lighting® (LED sports lighting) and unique spectator seating, a 48,000-square-foot recreation center, and an aquatic facility. The infrastructure includes a new roadway, turn lanes, maintenance yard, underground utilities, and irrigation pump station. Hunter balanced seven different funding sources and maintained Goodyear’s budget, corroborated by an independent third-party during preconstruction. Despite the design and permitting challenges, we maintained the project schedule through creative phasing. We met the needs of many stakeholders: city departments, churches, schools, and neighboring subdivisions.
