Ellsworth and Queen Creek Road Improvements

Hunter Contracting Co. worked on street and drainage improvements at the intersection of Ellsworth Road and Queen Creek Road. Through lanes on Ellsworth Road from Walnut Road to Ryan Road were increased to three lanes in each direction and on Queen Creek Road to two lanes in each direction. The roadway’s intersection was shifted laterally to increase the Ellsworth Road curve radius and introduce superelevation to improve operational safety by reducing the risk of a vehicle overturning or skidding. Our team avoided significant utility and drainage facilities for minimal utility relocation from careful planning.
