Deer Valley WTP Minor Modifications
CM@Risk project City of Phoenix
This Project Included:

Chandler Alamosa Water Production Facility
• City of Chandler
• Design/build project
• Contract amount of $7,856,405
• HCC is constructing a new 2.0-MG circular pre-stressed concrete reservoir along with a new 2,500 square foot building.
• This project also includes a booster pump station, which will include vertical turbine pumps, discharge piping, valves, and magnetic flow meters.
   
 
Phoenix Paradise Valley Booster Station
• City of Phoenix
• CM@Risk project
• GMP for this project is $6,740,044
• Includes seven constant speed vertical turbine pumps with new site piping, automated control valves, flow meters, and two new PRV stations.
   
 
Ft. McDowell Waste Water Treatment Plant
• Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation
• 300,000 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant
• GMP of $10,671,000
• This project was a SBR treatment facility completed on time and within budget.
• The FMYN community has subsequently awarded us their $11M Sewer Collection project currently under construction.
   
 
Union Hills WTP 160-MGD Improvement
• City of Phoenix
• Three-year CM@Risk project
• Grossing $37,157,367
• During the construction of this project, HCC rebuilt 32 existing filters, added four new complete filters and built one new GAC filter.
• Also included on this project iss a Dewatering Facility with Centrifuges and a new Raw Water Intake Facility.
• Hunter Contracting Co. and the City of Phoenix won the SW Magazine over $5M Engineering 2004 award for this project.
   
 
Job Order Contract Water Production Facilities
• City of Phoenix
• This is our second three-year term
• Job Order Contract serving the City’s six water treatment facilities
• During our first three-year term, Hunter Contracting completed 120 projects totaling $6,000,000.
 
 
Pulte Homes Festival Ranch Water Reclamation Facility
• Pulte Homes
• Design/build project
• GMP of $8,495,826.48
• HCC is working with Wilson & Company to design and build a 1.0 MGD facility
 
 
Johnny G. Martinez WTP 12-MG Reservoir
• City of Tempe
• CM@Risk
• GMP of $19,765,955
• Construct a new 12-MG cast-in-place concrete potable water reservoir
• Consists of the installation of a new infrastructure including water, sewer, storm drain and electrical work.
• Construction of a new sludge drying bed and the demolition and excavation of their existing reservoir is included.
 
 
Glendale Pyramid Peak WTP 10MG Reservoir & Pump Station

• City of Glendale
• CM@Risk Project
• GMP of $12,540,322
• HCC is constructing a second 10MG finished water reservoir
• Installation of a new water treatment plant solids drying lag

Hunter Contracting’s Industrial Division prides themselves using the Alternate Delivery Method for obtaining projects. This is a selection-based process where companies are chosen based solely on their experience with the municipalities.
