Established in 1961 in Gilbert, Arizona, Hunter Contracting has grown from a small business to a robust enterprise producing projects ranging in size from $10,000 to upwards of $50 million.

Hunter employs highly-skilled and experienced managers, engineers, estimators, operators, industrial craftsmen, carpenters, pipe layers and laborers who together successfully compete in many disciplines of construction.  Additionally, Hunter owns a dependable up-to-date fleet of equipment.

These resources allow Hunter to self-perform excavating, grading, asphalt and concrete paving, curb and gutter sidewalk, concrete retaining walls, bridges, box culverts, Con-Arch structures, underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drain, irrigation and dry utilities), mechanical piping, process equipment installations, sheet piling, shoring, lagging and general building work.

Throughout the years, this family-owned company has maintained an emphasis on excellence of construction and dependable, efficient and high-quality workmanship - creating projects that have resulted in long-term relationships of trust with our many clients.  These clients include city, state, county and tribal governments, land developers, commercial contractors, and electric and water utility companies.  We are proficient in all delivery methods, including Hard Bid, Construction Manager at Risk, Job Order Contracting and Design-Build.

Hunter has taken an active role in building our local communities.  Working with public and private owners, we have helped to develop policy addressing the ongoing changes in the construction industry.  By focusing on our responsibility to the communities in which we live and work, Hunter continues to be an integral part of the growth of the Southwest.
