It is the mission of the Hunter Contracting Co. Training Department to identify training solutions that will enhance the skills and methods of the employees of Hunter to prepare them for our future opportunities.

National Center for Construction Education and Research

Hunter Contracting Co. is proud to announce that it now offers training through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).  The NCCER oversees our Craft Training Program and provides our employees with nationally recognized credentials upon successful completion. With continued commitment we will see benefits such as reduced re-work, reduced accidents, increased confidence from our customers, etc.The participation of our employees in this program is sure to build on our reputation as the Contractor of Choice!

In addition to the NCCER Training Program, the Training Department is focused on the job of providing the employees of the company with other training that is of the best quality and value. Training is available for all levels of our total workforce to include refresher training for the most experienced personnel.

Hunter Contracting Co. also participates in the Associated General Contractor’s Apprenticeship Program. As a note, the company does not condone the active recruitment of apprentices from other AGC members. Information about this program can be found at www.azagc.org.

Employees are encouraged to periodically view the Training Calendar for upcoming training opportunities. Utilize the Training Request Form to enroll in a scheduled class or request a class that is not scheduled.
