Training Opportunities
It is the mission of the Hunter Contracting Co. Training Department to provide useful and effective training, which will help the company stay the “Contractor of Choice” in both a professional and ethical way.

National Center for Construction Education and Research

Hunter Contracting Co. is proud to announce that it now offers training through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).  The NCCER Training Program provides training in crafts such as Millwright, Pipe Layer, Concrete Finishing, Heavy Equipment Operator, Highway/Heavy Construction and Core! With this program in place, and the amount of participation we have, we are sure to build on our reputation as the Contractor of Choice! These craft professionals are spending five hours each week of their own time improving their skills through valuable training. The Instructors are spending countless hours preparing the materials to properly educate our internal workforce. With continued commitment we will see benefits such as reduced re-work, reduced accidents, increased confidence from our customers, etc.

In addition to the NCCER Training Program, the Training Department is focused on the job of providing the employees of the company with other training that is of the best quality and value. To accomplish this, supervisors must be engaged in the request process from start to finish.
